About Sandra

Howdy!

Finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable is one of the most important factors when considering therapy, so please allow me to introduce myself! I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois and my Masters Degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University. After working for over 20 years in the Midwest, I relocated to Aggieland in 2016. I have experience working in various social service agencies, with clients of all ages with diverse presenting concerns. Prior to opening my full time practice, I spent 5 years working exclusively with college students, including 2 years at the Texas A&M Counseling and Psychological Services.

My Office

My practice is conveniently located in south College Station in the Tower Point area (behind Rx Pizza and Mad Taco).

Services

Individual Therapy

A note to college students

I work with individuals age 18 through adulthood. Areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, substance use, relationship issues, and adjustment issues among others.

I provide support for older teens and young adults with ADHD to develop skills to help them to succeed at work and/or at school.

I DO NOT provide ADHD testing.

A note to college students

College is both an exciting and stressful time. I welcome the opportunity to assist students with managing the stress associated with this important stage of human development. I am committed to providing appointments that fit into a student's busy schedule.

I DO NOT write Emotional Support Animal letters for new clients.
